Buffalo Wings Recipe
I love this super easy buffalo wings recipe. Wings recipes come in many variations. This recipe is a variation straight from the heart of the south where spicy food is part of everyday life. Simplicity is key to the perfect buffalo wing which is a win win for you. Using just salt, pepper, Tabasco sauce, and butter you’ll have these babies fried up and ready to eat in no time! Serve with fresh celery and thick blue cheese dressing for dipping. Enjoy these buffalo wings on game day or any day for that matter.
Buffalo Wings 2 1/2 pounds chicken wings Salt and pepper 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour Cooking oil 6 ounces Tabasco Sauce 1/2 cup melted butter Fill large heavy frying pan with 1 inch of oil. Turn to medium heat and allow to heat up. To test oil place small fresh piece of bread in oil and if it turns brown in 45 seconds the oil is ready (about 365 degrees F.) Season both sides of wings with salt and pepper. Very lightly dust the wings with flour and place in hot oil. Cook on each side until the chicken is completely cooked, crispy, and golden (about 8 to 12 min. on each side). Remove wings and drain on paper towel. Mix Tabasco Sauce and melted butter in large bowl and add wings. Completely coat each wing with sauce. Serve up these spicy wings immediately.
