Easy Crescent Roll Appetizers

Crescent Roll Appetizers: Little Smokies in a Crescent.

1 can crescent roll dough

16 smoked cocktail sausages, drained and patted dry

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Remove cold dough from can and unroll. Divide the dough into the eight predetermined triangles. Cut each triangle in half so you have 16 smaller triangles. Roll the smoked cocktail sausages up in the dough triangles and place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 300 degrees F. until golden brown, about 12 to 15 min. Serve with ketchup and mustard or the dipping sauce of your choice.

Spinach Thumbprints

Crescent roll appetizers: Spinach Thumbprints.

1/4 cup chopped frozen spinach, thawed

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

2 Tbsp Cream Cheese

2 tsp. fresh garlic chopped

1 can crescent roll dough

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. In blender or food processor blend spinach, cheeses, and garlic. Put mixture in small bowl and set aside or put in refrigerator.

Remove cold dough from can and unroll. Divide the dough into the eight predetermined triangles. Cut each triangle in half so you have 16 smaller triangles. Form dough balls out of each triangle by rolling them with your hands. Place each dough ball on a lightly greased baking sheet.

Make an indent with your thumb in the center of each dough ball and fill with a small amount of the spinach filling. Bake until golden brown about 12 to 15 min. Serve and enjoy these crescent roll appetizers!


Bacon Cheddar Rolls

Crescent Roll Appetizers: Bacon Cheddar Rolls.

1/4 cup bacon, cooked and finely chopped

1/4 cup cheddar cheese, finely grated

2 Tbsp sour cream

2 tsp green onion, finely chopped

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. In small bowl mix bacon, cheese, sour cream, and onions. Set aside.

Remove cold dough from can and unroll. Divide dough into four rectangles. Each rectangle consists of two predetermined crescent roll triangles. Lay the rectangles out in front of you and press and seal perforated lines. Spread the bacon mixture evenly on each rectangle to the edges. Starting with the short ends of the rectangles, roll each one up and seal.

With a sharp knife, cut each rolled rectangle into four equal rolls. Place rolls on lightly greased baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 12 to 15 min.

Pizza Triangles

Crescent Roll Appetizers: Pizza Triangles.

2 Tbsp pepperoni, chopped

1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, finely grated

2 Tbsp pizza sauce

1 can crescent roll dough

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. In small bowl mix together the pepperoni, cheese, and sauce. Set aside.

Remove cold dough from can and unroll. Divide dough into four rectangles. Each rectangle consists of two predetermined crescent roll triangles. Cut each rectangle in half into two squares, so you have a total of eight squares. Press and seal the perforated lines.

Drop some of the pizza mixture (about 2 to 3 tsp.) in the center of each square. Fold over and seal each square creating turnovers. Make sure the edges are sealed so the filling doesn’t ooze out.

Place turnovers on lightly greased baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 12 to 15 min. Serve and enjoy these crescent roll appetizers!


Artichoke Squares

Crescent Roll Appetizers: Artichoke Squares.

1/4 cup artichoke hearts, chopped

1/4 cup gouda cheese, finely grated

2 Tbsp cream cheese

2 tsp fresh garlic, finely chopped

1 can crescent roll dough

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. In small bowl mix together the artichokes, cheeses, and garlic. Set aside.

Remove cold dough from can and unroll. Divide dough into two large rectangles. Press and seal the perforated lines. Cut each rectangle into six equal squares (you will have to create your own lines), so you have twelve squares total.

Drop some of the artichoke mixture (about 2 tsp.) in the center of six of the squares. Top with the other six squares and press edges to seal all the way around. Make sure the edges are sealed tightly so the filling doesn’t ooze out.

Place filled squares on lightly greased baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 12 to 15 min. Serve and enjoy these crescent roll appetizers!
